Synchronized Swimming Lessons
Elm Park’s Synchronized Swim lessons are for children interested in the sport of Synchronized (or Artistic) swimming and have little to no experience. Lessons occur 2x per week for 30 minutes each (see weekly schedule), where swimmers will learn the fundamentals of synchronized swimming. They will develop key technical and endurance skills such as treading water and basic figures. The lessons are a great way to try the sport without needing to commit to a training schedule or a competition.

Synchronized Swimming Team
Elm Park’s Synchronized Swimming team is for any children interested in the sport of Synchronized (or Artistic) swimming and have at least some previous experience. Practices occur 5x per week for one hour each (see weekly schedule), where swimmers will continue to develop the fundamentals of synchronized swimming as well as develop a complete routine either as an individual, as part of a duet or as part of a team. Once developed, the swimmer will perform the routine at two competitions in late July and Mid-August respectively (see monthly calendar for exact dates). Given that routines can only fully be developed and practiced with all team members present, all practices are mandatory. At Elm Park Pool, we encourage participation from members of all levels, provided they can attend a minimum of 80-90% of practices as well as both competitions. Our competitions are filled with positive energy and passionate cheering from our coaches and members and create a uniquely memorable experience for our swimmers.
Our Synchronized Swim team is divided into the following age categories:
Pre-Junior: 10 years and under (routine durations range from 30 seconds to 1min 15s)
Junior – 13 years and under (routine durations ranges from 1:15-2:15)
Senior – 16 years and under (routines durations range from 1:30-2:30)
* Please note that all competitors will be required to purchase a team swimsuit.*
